welcome to atlanta, georgia! ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) amenity is a played-by community that is based in and around the city of atlanta, geogia. the capital and most populous city city in the state. while atlanta is considered one of the top business cities and transportation hub, hosting the world headquarters of coca-cola company, at&t and delta air lines, it also has many different options on daily activities. attracting many different foreign tourists, the city of atlanta hosts a variety of different museums, festivals and cultural events. the most popular of these include: the atlanta history center and the martin luther king, jr. national historic site. in atlanta, there are many different schooling options from elementary school all the way until you're deciding for university. the atlantic public school system includes many different high school choices while the top universities in the city include: georgia institute of technology, georga state university and spelman college. so whether you are just barely getting by with your rent or attending school, atlanta is a place for a variety of different personalities and people!
the moderators here at amenity want to make this community to fit you, the writers. so, if you have any ideas or concerns feel free to bring them up in our screened post. we won't bite your heads off. to keep things simple we assume that the basic rules of roleplay are already known; keep ic/ooc seperate, journals and sn are to be in-character and update your journal every two weeks. this is your community and as long as you are active, we will try to make this the best that we can possibly make it!

in order to apply it will not be required of you to have facts or a biography but it would be nice if you could list basic information that should be known about your character in your journal. for example, name, date of birth, hometown, how long have they lived in atlanta, siblings, likes, dislikes and whatever else you feel should be shared with the community. if any questions should arise about this, please contact us here! if you would like to share other information, feel free! in order to apply, you will simply just need a journal, screen name and examples. challenges will be allowed but please do not go overboard!
